For someone who has never won anything (other than a drawing competition about a decade ago), winning Apple Music Festival tickets was a pretty big, very large, massive, whopping deal. Taking place at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, it was the smallest venue that One Direction had played at since their first tour, starting way back in 2011. Since then, it's fair to say that their fame has rocketed through the roof and the opportunity to see them play to much an intimate audience was one not to be missed!
We arrived at the venue at around 2pm, four hours before the doors were due to be opened. Having been to many One Direction concerts over the years, both Amelia and I were expecting there to be a massive queue. However, somehow, we ended up around 50th in line (we couldn't quite believe our luck!) and got ourselves comfy on the cold, damp pavement. We have often joked about how all we seem to do together is sit on pavements waiting for boybands and we found ourselves, once again, doing just that. The first three hours seemed to fly by, we got chatting to the girls around us in the queue and were all getting excited together. To add to the excitement, whilst we were queuing One Direction decided to drop a new track, Infinity, from their upcoming album Made in the A.M. and, within about two minutes of its release, the entire queue were singing along!
Being between second and third row was incredible and we were overwhelmed at how close the barrier was to the stage. By this point I was feeling sick with excitement and Amelia and I were sat there, slightly stunned at how close we were.

Overall it was an incredible evening and experience and I will forever remain grateful that I won those tickets!
